Vision Trips
This is a form for people to fill in to express their interest in joining vision trips to look at mission work, either in South Africa or other countries, with a particular emphasis on medical & compassion ministries. The form will give some information, and ask for some information, which will help us in planning & preparing.
Some basic information about the proposed trips…
Anyone joining the trip to other countries will have to have a valid passport. Information about required vaccinations will be given according to destinations.
Cost of joining the trip which will cover food, travel, accommodation, and travel insurance, will be calculated in advance & carried by those joining the trip.
The trips will be organised by Victor & Rachel Fredlund, who are missionaries with SIM, and the teams will be classed as SIM Visiting Teams.

By submitting this form you are telling us that you are interested in joining a Vision Trip, and that you agree with the attached SIM Statement of Faith & that you are willing for us to make contact with your church. At this point there is no firm commitment on your side, but it means that as trips are proposed and we have more information about possible destinations, we will contact you and find out if you are interested, willing and able.

As a 3rd year MBChB student and a child of God attending a non-Christian university I have found it difficult to integrate my faith with my studies and future career as the principles, morals and teachings of the institution do not always align with my own.
The Vision Mission Trip 2024 to rural KZN and eSwatini has shown me that it is not only possible to integrate your faith and practice, but that you can be incredibly successful in doing so. I have learned that spreading the Word of God is as easy as bearing the Fruit of the Spirit in every aspect of your life.
The trip has taught me it won’t always be easy, but everyday do what your hand finds to do, God will provide you with the opportunities and resources to help your patients.
