Medical Staff Needed for Botswana
Pay rates in Botswana are not as high as South Africa but they are certainly adequate to sustain and provide money for ministry activities. If you are interested in going to Botswana with your medical skills contact me, Victor.

Medical Mission Report by Ntokozo
The mission trip was conducted by a multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, medical students, a nurse and a social worker.
The purpose of the trip was to provide medical outreach, spiritual ministry, community support and compassionate care to vulnerable communities.
We are working an arrangement with Project CURE that might mean we can go for less than the 2600 USD.
People should book a trip through us.
The cost would be the airfare to and from Addis, as well as medical registration.
This C.U.R.E. Clinic will focus on delivering primary care services while working side-by-side with local healthcare professionals at Shashamane Comprehensive Specialized Hospital in partnership with the Mako Foundation.
Located in Ethiopia’s Oromia region, Shashemene offers both a welcoming community and an incredible opportunity to learn, serve, and grow. Together with our Ethiopian partners, you will be part of a collaborative effort to expand access to healthcare in a region where resources are limited but resilience and dedication are strong.
We welcome a variety of healthcare professionals including family or internal medicine physicians, OB/GYNs, pediatricians, pharmacists, nurses, EMTs/paramedics, mid-level providers, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.

Greetings from Niger. We were in contact a few years ago, specifically looking at the possibility of recruiting anesthetists to Galmi Hospital here in Niger.
I am writing to you again to request that you publicize and recommend and pray for more medical workers for our hospital. Specifically since the coup here in Niger two years ago it has gotten progressively more difficult for passport holders from N. America and Europe to come work here. As many of our previous long termers and short-termers came from these areas this has very much affected our ability to adequately staff the hospital. As such we are hoping to actively recruit short and long term medical professionals from Africa to join in the mission of Galmi Hospital. (https://galmi.org/)
Volunteers who are interested can contact me directly at this email address or apply through their nearest SIM office or World Medical Mission.
With the exception of nurses, who can be recruited locally, we are in need off all medical professionals. Specific areas of priority need include:
- Pharmacist
- Anesthetist
- OB doctors
- General surgeons
- Medical doctors (internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine)
Other specialties could also be used but in depth discussion of their expectations would be necessary (E.g. we may not have all the tools/medicines they are used to using in their practice).

We are exploring how to partner with City Hope Disaster Relief and provide Medical Personnel equipped to go as first response to disaster scenes where they are needed.
The vision is to prepare equipment and supplies for first response. to identify appropriate staff to form a medical team in the context of disaster, to have a register of people willing to be rapidly deployed to the site of life threatening disasters, and to provide for their deployment.

You can organize your free time as you wish, for example, with hikes, bike tours, visits to Malagasy villages, excursions to Mandritsara, game nights, etc. We foster an active team environment and would love for you to be a part of it. Ministry Opportunities in Senegal and Africa
Youth Training Centre (West Africa):
Reaching unreached young adults through vocational and English education. If you have a heart for young adults who do not know the Lord, come and join the team at our Youth Training Centre, in a small city in West Africa. We are especially looking for someone to teach English as an additional language, but also have opportunity.
English Teaching Centre (Urban West Africa):
Using language learning to build relationships and share Christ with university students. We are looking for native English speakers to join our team in a large city, teaching English as an additional language to university students and others. Classes are based around a secular curriculum but you would have opportunities to share wisdom.
Sports Friends Senegal:
Training church-based coaches to disciple youth through sports. The Sports Friends staff train local church-based coaching teams with the goal that they will eventually become sustainable sports ministry programmes fully managed and funded by the church. Our goal is to train and equip the Senegalese church in a sustainable, reproducible way that will allow the local churches to impact their communities for years to come.
Local Church Involvement:
Supporting and strengthening growing churches—especially among youth. The Senegalese church is growing, especially among young people. We seek to be active members of local churches, supporting them by regular attendance, in prayer, and by helping with different teaching and disciplining ministries as opportunities arise.
SIM Senegal Support Team:
Using finance, admin, and HR skills to support gospel work. Do you have skills in finance, administration, or human resources management? Do you wish you could use those skills to help reach people who are living and dying without Christ? Come and join our team in Senegal! You could choose to live in the lively capital city or a smaller city a couple of hours away, both of which are home to several team members and have local churches that would welcome your involvement.
MK Education:
Teachers and dorm parents enabling missionary families to stay and serve. Do you like working with children and teenagers? We are looking for qualified school teachers, as well as those who could work in auxiliary roles such as dorm parenting, finance and admin, to enable families from SIM and like-minded organisations to stay on the field, knowing that their children’s educational needs can be met. We place staff and interns at Dakar Academy (https://www.dakar-academy.org), and may also have opportunities for homeschool teachers. Dakar Academy has a Christian ethos, but welcomes children from all backgrounds, so there are opportunities both to disciple those from Christian families and also to share the good news with those who haven’t heard.
Media Ministries:
Online ads and content in local languages connecting seekers to the gospel. Partnering with other mission agencies and local believers, we create online ads that link to a website where those who are interested are able to read the Scriptures, download local-language Bible apps, watch local-language films with Christian content, and request face-to-face meetings with a local believer to talk more about Jesus and the Christian faith. Through online messaging and discernment of spiritual interest, we connect seekers with disciplers near them.
Healthcare Ministries:
Medical professionals bringing holistic care—and the hope of Christ—in a Muslim context. Far more people pass through the doors of clinics and hospitals each day than the doors of churches. Come and use your healthcare skills in this mainly Muslim context and see lives impacted as you offer compassionate, holistic care in Christ’s name.(more…)

Our Trip to Zambia...
The reasons for the trip to Zambia was …
1. To care for sick people with the love of Christ in action
2. to encourage those in the situation in their daily ministry
3. to understand some of the issues and opportunities of medical mission through observation and reflection
4. Each person on the team to grow spiritually personally through the experience
5. To develop relationships & links between the mission hospitals and other Christian medical professionals within Zambia & beyond.
6. To encourage the churches we come from to be involved in mission.
7. To encourage our professional colleagues also to look into mission possibilities
8. To see how we might take some of mission hospital practices of spiritual care into our own work situations

This challenging region, where there are no known believers, requires workers with resilience, flexibility and commitment who are ready to share the Good News. Applicants should be prepared to study Arabic and work alongside local staff.

Why I wrote Ngithume Nkosi: Lord, Send Me...

I wrote “Ngithume Nkosi: Lord, Send Me” to address themes of faith, service and calling.
The book explores the idea of being available for God’s work and responding to the call to serve others. It emphasizes the significance of listening to one’s inner calling and the importance of stepping out in faith to fulfill that calling. By sharing personal experiences, insights, and biblical teachings,
I hope it will help inspire readers to embrace their own spiritual journeys and missions.

Elwa Hospital, Liberia...
There are lots of things happening at ELWA hospital and we’re currently looking ahead to some gaps in our surgical department in the next few months.
We have a strong surgical department that is staffed by 3 surgeons, all PAACS trained. This is such a gift to us. With just three staff in the department, it is manageable when everyone is here but becomes difficult when one goes on leave, as the workload can be heavy.
To support this department and continue to provide the much-needed surgical coverage, we are looking for a short-term General Surgeon from April/May to September/October. It would be wonderful to have someone come for 6 months, or longer.
Dr. Juvenal our chief of surgery has the opportunity to do a pediatric general surgery fellowship in Canada. He will be leaving in July, Lord willing.
Dr. Elvis is from Burundi and needs to take a well-deserved leave. He and his family will be travelling June-July.
Dr. Audry also needs to take family leave in August.
We are planning to have 2 of our surgeons on the ground at a time and the short-term surgeon would come in as a support to the team but would not be here alone.
If you have anyone who may be interested in helping us with this need, please have them contact me. They would need to be able to support themselves financially, or have a sponsor.
